Tête-à -tête over dinner
The person you meet at dinner isn’t always the person you find yourself laughing with hours later. There’s something lovely about getting beneath the surface... about discovering the unexpected in each other.
Give me good company, somewhere beautiful, a cocktail, and a conversation neither of us wants to end. Laughter. Playful chemistry. The feeling that the rest of the world can wait. Some evenings call for dressing up, cocktails, and seeing where the night takes us.

Others are better spent somewhere intimate, comfortable, and unhurried, letting the hours disappear. I’m drawn to the unexpected ones. The conversation that goes somewhere neither of us anticipated, the glance that lingers, the plan that changes halfway through the evening. The moment you realize neither of you is particularly interested in checking the time anymore.
Those are usually my favorites.
I don’t think the best experiences can be scheduled down to the minute. Sometimes it’s dinner somewhere beautiful, followed by another drink because neither of us is ready to leave.

Sometimes it’s getting dressed up and seeing where the night leads. Sometimes it’s simply being somewhere comfortable, enjoying each other’s company, with nowhere else we need to be.
For me, anticipation is part of the pleasure. So is that subtle shift when two people stop being strangers and start becoming genuinely interested in one another.

The laughter gets easier. The conversation becomes more personal. The glances last a little longer and  suddenly, the evening feels like it belongs entirely to the two of you.

That’s the sort of connection I’m interested in.
Natural. Playful. Unhurried.
With just enough temptation to make it memorable.
